Thinkers and Doers, Part II
Okay, so I got 7 or so pages of the new chapter the other day. But me and my editor (the honorable Dr. Reverend Gonzo President Lam) decided I needed to cut back on some of the metafictional parts. The second half of the story is metafiction zombie land. For better or worse, I guess. Sometimes you get Die Hard. Sometimes you get Kafka's roach.
But now I can't bridge the gap between cuts and what not. To make matters worse, I'm out of NYC style pizza. So much for a permanent cure (writer's block).

Another good song
"Kids" by MGMT. If you dug Whip It, you might remember this great tune. It played near the end of the film, I think during the last beauty pageant. But "Kids" is a great song in its own right. The kind of song that, while playing, I hope never ends. Thanks for the great new tunes, Sir Cousin!

Love Song
I think I'm in love with Ok Go's song, "Oh Lately It's So Quiet". It's a really great song to listen to while writing or harpooning whales.

Not Writer's Block
I don't really want to call it writer's block. It's more like a mental block or something. Maybe Reg's Block. It sucks. I've been working on a zombie novella since last August. And I'm close to finishing it, but I'm stuck on the current chapter. I want to start with a character named Tom opening his eyes (Tom opened his eyes.). Then have a wrinkled manuscript land on his chest (A wrinkled and slightly damp manuscript landed on his chest). Followed by another character named Rick saying "We're not doing that zombie shit anymore." But it's not coming together.
-Should I describe the grass in the front yard (where the scene takes place)?
-POV...Tom's or Rick's?
-Style?
It sucks having Not Writer's Block.
UPDATE: I might have found the start. Got a paragraph (hey, it's a start!)

Sexy Photos Too Racy For USA
Lark-Marie Anton, VP of marketing and PR for Miss Universe, said, "The contestants who compete for the title of Miss USA are not afraid to be sexy."
I'm okay with that. Pictured below, Kindra Danielle Clark (Miss Kentucky) has my vote!

Okay, I'm bringing this blog back
because there are some things that I like to talk write about that don't fit in my Taco Biff blog or my Reg Co Art blog. So I'm back. Changed the name though. I still can't believe I used to call this "Facts of the Reg". Might as well just call it "Reg Lee Blog," which is what I'm doing.
UPDATE: Okay, so it's Reg Lee's Famous Blog.
