Japan was eliminated today during World Cup play, but Hello Kitty can never be eliminated (bwah ha ha).

Futurama es Bueno!
I was thinking fondly of the Simpsons and how I missed Phil Hartman's characters and a lot of the old episodes. Later in the day, I was at Best Buy and noticed that all four volumes of Futurama were on sale for $14.99 (USD) (Ha, like that USD part? I thought it was pretty eBay of me). So I bought Vol. 3, which makes sense seeing how my sista has Vol. 1 & 2 and, as siblings, are connected psychically to TV shows that the other might watch. When she watches Doogie Howser M.D., I watch Doogie Howser M.D. Yup. Perfectly normal, I say. Anyway, so much for missing the Simpsons. Futurama es bueno!

Is this becoming a fast food blog, or what?
Anyway...I tried the new Spicy Chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A. It was very tasty. For those of you that don't know, Chick-fil-A is the best place for chicken sandwiches. It's fast food, but not too greasy. The place is clean, workers are friendly, you get the idea. Nice place all around. And now they have a spicy chicken. The breading (spicy part) isn't as good as Wendy's, but the chicken breast is way better than anything you'll find in a Wendy's (or God forbid, McDonald's). And that combination makes it the best spicy chicken sandwich that I've ever had. Very good stuff. And if you live near a Chick-fil-A, chances are good that you'll get a coupon in the mail for a free one (with any purchase). So go out and try one TODAY!

Wendy's Kid Meal Trouble
Do you ever think I would listen to disco if it wasn't for the racy lyrics? If so, you are not alone. Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers has pulled a Donna Summer cd from their kid meals because of those exact reasons. Dave Thomas, speaking from beyond the grave, spoke to reporters outside the Wendy's headquarters in Atlanta. "You know," Thomas said, "the music would be ok if it wasn't for all the 'get up and boogie' and the 'shake shake shake'. We know what KC and the Sunshine Band was talking about. And that's sexual intercourse." Thomas went on to say that he misses making all those burger commercials and that, if he had a chance to do it all over, he'd skip his daughter and name the fast food chain after his imaginary adopted son, Ricardo.
Wendy's has also pulled their Disco Fever CD, not for racy lyrics, but because disco sucks without sexual innuendo.

Summer type job
Just started delivering the phone book in my area. If it wasn't for the heat, it would be an awesome job. It doesn't pay that great, but you basically pick your own hours and don't have to deal with people dicking you around. I like it (so far). Perfect kind of job for a bum like me. I may include a series of photos at a later date.
